Pretty sure Meyer is usually a last name. And the first syllable of "Meyer" is pronounced like the month "May", not like the pronoun "My" (which is how the kana works out)... which makes me wonder, did you consider the name Maya? Is there an official JP naming that used Meyer? (imo, screw the official japanese naming if it's stupid)

I don't know anything about the name Meyer or how it's written in Japanese since I rarely encounter that name, but the first thing that popped into my mind was Siegmeyer of Catarina from Dark Souls pronounced as "my". The kana's the same too (girl in the manga in named マイヤー and Siegmeyer is ジークマイヤー). This might not be the example you're looking for though. Sorry.
