@Melansjf: Nah, it’s pretty believable. I’ve seen far guys at my college have much thinner, prettier girlfriends.
Mika has a pretty bad dating history. Even disregarding how she was raped in the first two alternate timelines MC made, in the original timeline, she had LOTS of experience with men and the other timelines make it seem like she just had a really hard time rejecting anyone.
She says she got with MC because he was sincere. Makes me think that her first crush actually did pick her up in the original timeline and eventually dumped her to be with other girls because of how popular he was. In addition, MC also thinks that Mika’s friend influenced her to be more broad about dating people (which probably contributed to how many partners she had in college), so she just gave MC a chance and found that she preferred him over all the other relationships she had. I mean, given how easily she gets forced into sex, she must have accrued a rep as an easy lay and you can imagine the kind of men that would attract.

@KeiosKod nha. "If I was the first, it would be different!" This is just a beta providing fantasy. The protag is a creepy guy (for his thoughts) and it doesn't seems he wants to change (I hope he will). There is no prove that he can handle a long relationship and the wife choose to marry him not only because he is "a nice guy" but probably because he neither think to look others women. Right now she has a crush for him because the particular situation that they were, but I don't see motives for her to date him in a long run....

hopefully they just timeskip to the future and his past self just goes on crusecontrol like the one where the dude falls in a pool and ends up back grade school.

@Kushikime no lie dude thats what I was feeling reading the first few chapters but like I cant stop rooting for the guy regardless of how weird it is.
@Melansjf yeah, im pretty sure MC understands that but that is part of the charm of the series. The dude is butt fucking ugly but still purses the same woman even when he ends up dying and coming out in a pretty good life or situation. He has resolve and is truly giving up his life for it with the fact that he wants her to be happy mostly with him from the beginning to the end but if she chooses someone else then he would be saddened and mad but fine with it. Maybe its not his appearance but his character that attracts the chick. Look at DeVito, he is short and isnt prince charming but his personality and being make him out to be a lovable cool guy.
@fluffykunat this was the chapter that made me start truly liking it, he understands he is weird, awkward, any not really deserving of her but still wants to help her. He had better routes and alternatives as well as better outcomes but he still persues only one woman and is dying for her to solve issues and eventually go from start to finish. It is a manga so it could definitely happen, maybe. Also the hooded guy could be himself, first-love, first-love following MC to undermine him to make the timeline with him having first, or it could be some adult figure like her father or uncle. I strangely believe it to be the father but the wall of photos is sort of putting off that idea.
@Akikako its a manga, im going to be straight dude its a manga anything can happen as long as the author or writer wants it to. Casual situation turning into a nightmare or a miracle is all in the hands of whimsical writing. We just need to keep reading and see how the charterers develop and see if MC changes more. Also I wonder if the dude will lose weight buy then end of the series.
