@Zinon tbf this is sort of how all conflict in this story is resolved. 2 groups/characters are at odds, then a 3rd character shows up and explains things and everyone is just chill now. It fits the fluff style of it but obviously when you wade into something a bit more serious like child abuse it feels weird lol

I thought it would be a hit with a fist or something... if she really hit him with the corner of the frame, there is no way he was fine after putting a band aid on the wound, that's a wound that needs stitches and probably would leave a scar anyways. he should have gone to the police. Screams and your average fist fight are not life threatening. Using tools to him another person can easily be life threatening. You shouldn't tolerate abuse, much less if it could actually kill you.

Also, the Author should probably haven't gotten Kouhai to just forgive the mother
Thats very far from how she acts normally
And the mother atleast acts somewhat like she cares for the son(My parents don't), but getting all chummy with a random person who grilled you about beating up your son is not realistic behaviour(Based on personal experience)
