This is either bait (likely) or the reason why she's obsessed with him, because of some way he helped her in the past (what I hope is true), but I can't imagine this MC doing anything other than stare blankly into space and despair, so it's probably not option 2.

what if the MC was a normal kid growing up and something he did got her obsessed and she awoke to this whole thing.
just some way some how she kept manipulating him into situations that eventually made him a hardcore idol fan for her.
like we don't know how long she's been tailing this dude but it definitely wasn't recent by the time she moved into the apartment.
