@Wheinfield bullying actually leaves a huge emotional scar in the hearts of the victims. It isolates them, makes them feel inferior about themselves etc. A friend of mine was bullied so badly just because he was a nerd. He was bullied by both upper and lower classmen and literally had no friends except me and another guy. At a point the bullying became so bad that he was beaten up and got scared to even come to school. So he changed schools and only keeps in contact with me and the other guy. I haven't seen him physically tho.

Plenty of ways to deal with bullies you just have to have the will to take the steps. Well here in the states they'll punish both the bully and the one standing up for themselves but I had cool parents who told the principal to shove it to his face. I was on that principals shit list since and was pissed I graduated. Point is those bullies leave you alone of they know you aint easy.
