Idol to Otaku no Risou no Kankei - Vol. 14 Ch. 85

@Sweet_Seats you can get criminally charged in my country for bystanding you either intervene or inform authorities.

Also what a disgusting attitude just because somebody isn't string enough to help themself in such extreme situation they don't deserve amy help? Moron

The author's trying superrrr hard to pulls in all the exaggerated bullied cliche into one.
Should have stick with the light comedy theme if you can't write and actual drama with depth.

"hurr durr author tried too hard pulling this trope"

I don't understand, why are you people still here then

I feel like they are trying to show this as a series of unfortunate events (not related to the well known one) because every choice they made make them seem worse than they really were. Of course the bullying was borderline criminal, but was their choose to stay apart at school the thing that made all worse. I still don't blame the dude, because all of this came auot of nowhere and then he became kind of a shut in. That part was not her fault, because she wasn't there of course, but what happened afterwards is what worries me, because I'm seeing these group of women (her idol group) that seems crazier than her. They might add that to show how she changed a toxic environment for other equally as bad and thus how she became mentally ill, but that takes away all the pseudo dark comedy this Manga had and shift the story a lot (a little bit of a turn of).
I hope I'm wrong and bad things ended there

Wtf so shitty, I kinda expected him to rampage, the eye scene got my hopes up and next page he has a shit-eating grin, at least if he bashed some heads and got suspended it'd redeem his character and make more sense of her obsession. . . Well, guess this is why she enjoys torturing him, it's actually a mix between love and reckoning. But really, there's not much value to this kid, he's mister mediocrity. . .

What was his grin supposed to mean there? Was he trying to comfort her or did he subconsciously enjoy seeing her in tears or something else?

@Sweet_Seats
wut? He didnt want to talk with her at school because of her secret(the cat)The person herself didn't ask for his help either. She really cant blame the poor dude. Instead of barking at the wrong tree, she should first fix her confidence, rely more to her parent or teacher, and lastly ask for help if she really needs to instead of bottling it up and blaming a third party instead of the perpetrator.

Did you completely miss where her dad kicked her in the stomach just as soon as she came home?

@piay123 Sometimes when you're overwhelmed by emotion your reflexes take over before you have a chance to react, in this case it formed a sort of disjointed smile as he tries to piece together what he just saw.

If someone wrote "Drop Dead!" on my desk, I'd wait until class started, then yell, "Hey! Who's the retard who doesn't even know that they're called Dropkick Murphys?"

Because then I get to call attention to their bullying and call them retards in front of the entire class. It's a win-win.

All these commenters complaining that this backstory will never "justify what she's done to him"...

Meanwhile I'm still scratching my head wondering what she's actually done to him. I don't know, her "mental torture" always seemed pretty weaksauce to me.

lol man i love how people are really taking this girls "bad deeds" so seriously up until this point.

am i really one of the few people that view this as more or less a comedy manga?

i mean--the shit she pulls with the MC is just so out of this world ridiculous its comical lol. even this flashback arc to me--while fucked up--is sort of just out of nowhere insane given the tone of the manga up until now.

@MrMcNasty Well, I did have that back in my middle school day. They wished me to die, scribble on my table like this and even placed a flower on my desk. I yelled before the class “Who’s the fucker that wrote on my desk?” Of course no one answered. The next day, I came in early, and hid to figure out who did it. And I smashed his head on the table from behind while he was doing it with his friends, beat them half dead with the chair and broke a person’s arm. I got suspended for 3 weeks but nothing much happened since I had evidences of those people who bullied me. I just answered the teacher nonchalantly “I just protected myself. They hit me first.” And until then, no one ever stepped even half a step near me. Fun time I would say.
