I felt a little sorry for her when she said she didn't want to exist but then she started taking her anger out on her daughter, just disappear. If she can yell at her grade school daughter in front of other students and parents embarrassing her publicly then she also could have approached that man in front of his family and called him out. It almost looks like she cares more about men and their feelings then her own daughter, and as long as they give her an ounce of attention or acknowledgement she's ready to bend over backwards and cater to them for her own twisted selfish satisfaction

Thats what im telling ya... Nijima is utterly stupid sometimes. Even if Mai is there sleeping, he shouldnt never brought 2 woman into his house to drink. He talks about staying married and what not but acts like hes single. Someone of his age should at least have self-awareness. This will become a real mess since Takae is definitely heading "back home" now. Ugh.
Also, theres no way i cant get to like her mother at this point.

Except Take does want him to act like he is single and knows he would not do something to hurt her.
If that is enough to make you like the mother then you are too naive. The situation in the house is her fault and getting with the guy without knowing anything about him shows that she doesn't put much thought on it over "it makes 'happy'", the guy is wrong in acting like that but that doesn't take from everything wrong she has done and is doing.
