@sarshi i'll put you in situation, you be spouting some dumb stuff while not knowing it was dumb stuff in public, someone corrects you
BOOM TOMATO FACE, didn't leave your room for 2 weeks after that @pipiru she kinda has a lewd search history from what we've seen, so she probably mistook this for that while looking for some porn
@pipiru
At first, I thought the original Japanese joke was 'Six Sense'|||'Six Sex'.
シックス・センス (shi-k-ku-su se-n-su) which is the Japanese title 'Six Sense', rather than the English title '(The) Sixth Sense'.
シックス・セックス (shi-k-ku-se se-k-ku-su)
But then I checked the pixiv raw, and it really is just 'Six Sense'|||'Six Nine'.
No, 'sense' looks nothing like 'nine', only sharing a 'ン' katakana.
'Six Nine' ---> 'Sixty Nine' was likely a creative liberty by the translator, as it is the more common way of reading '69'.
It's like that time when I thought "est." meant estimated by but my teacher overheard me and corrected me by saying "it's actually Established by." That was in my Senior year of high school and I always think about it and will never live it down.
@FireCamp eh people do that to me sometimes, i usually just "aahh lol" while laughing
i do correct my friends sometimes in public too, and it's ok though
@sarshi i mean yeah i was kinda exaggerating for comedic effect, and so does the manga but you gotta admit, imagine having an innocent friend yelling "bukkake" on the train coz some troll told him that word with a different meaning, only for you to tell him the true meaning, Yeah that face right there
The words are completely different, but their recent... "Investigations" through internet and a movie with foreign title could made her "twist the wires" in her brain. Me, being a foreign, can relate to that.
