So I tend to forget large portions of the manga I read. Is there a reason why dude can't wear a wire? Or set up a security cam?

@gum_rummy there's no specific reason given he just hasn't thought of it. Though with this situation he would have had to wear a wire at all times for him to have caught this convention. A security camera could have worked since he did know where the punishment would happen for a whole day now.
