i know its a small part of the chapter, but would a drop of water every now and then really stop you from falling asleep for even one day? i feel like thats not that big of a deal, especially if you move your head so it lands in your long hair. multiple days just seems ridiculous though.

It was never used as a real form of torture, so there's no real evidence it works. I'd love to test this myself, however, there are ethical concerns to answering what's an efficient form of torture.

I think the effect if the water as a means to keep someone awake depends on the person. Personally, I can't fall asleep.if I feel anything on my body, which would include water
