I don't trust the circumstances in which they would have met. My guess is either college kid doesn't think they are dating or he isn't only dating her. I mean just about the only way she could meet him is though her siblings or him being a childhood neighbor friend. Either side of those I don't see the family approving of them. Which leads me to leaning on he doesn't think they are dating but she does. Imouto zoned as it were.
