The sword reminds me of the sword from Fung Wan, a comic from Hong Kong.

That's kinda freaky: a surreal sword with a seemingly benign power like water is able to drain the energy of a powerful demon like a (possible) Four Heavenly King.

I did wonder how they'd be safe from bandits generally but having it be out of the way and not ideal to live was smart there.
Though that plan quickly fell apart by getting water unfortunately.

@biznizz We'll have to wait and see how she reacts with more swords but it could be either a trait of the sword or a combability issue with her and the swords in general.

Three of the four shitenno are very kind people.

Looking at Kohaku's attitude she seems to be a senior one like Azudora instead of a junior one like Vamirio. What I don't get is where her army support staff are. Even Vamirio had command of a general support staff to handle things like messaging and admin.

I am loving this slice of life pacing going on, i know there will be moments of adventure and whatnot but i am hoping the tavern plan really goes well, i think it will be fun if the focus is in the most fantastical shenanigans just to get the most mundane things but still having this homely feel.
