Ikenie Touhyou - Vol. 6 Ch. 47

What that teacher did to the student was just the worst! He wanted to help him by drawing attention from the entire class to the fact he has no friends. That's just humiliating, especially to an introvert like that guy most likely is. The students were clearly mocking him with sarcastic comments, the student himself was visibly shaken and yet the teacher kept patting himself on the back for how he "solved the problem."

That guy is truly unfitting for being a teacher.

truly a bad teacher, but i feel bad about the insults on the black board too :/

@YamiryuuZero
Me personally, I'd have just ask him if he wants to make friends and if he did give him advice on how to approach people. If he just wants to be left alone then I'd let him be left the fuck alone unless he's getting bullied

@Jacough Exactly.

When I was 12, I had transferred schools and was surrounded by people I did not want to get along with. I did want to make some friends, but not with the people around me (they were just bullies that seemed would end up arrested or shot by the police, while some of the girls were clearly going to get pregnant with their babies and had to go visit them in jail carrying 5 kids and wearing flops - pretty common scenario where I live, to be honest).

I certainly wanted to make new friend in the new environment, but definitely not with the same people I had to share a classroom with. Every time I was made the center of attention for one reason or another, it just made my life hell. This teacher here is precisely the type of teacher I despise with passion!

@yamiryuuzero : did your class have the same system like in this manga? Like you have to stick with the rest of them for a year... its quite suck if you are alone in that environment but its different story if the school has a moving class per individual

@Syanindita Yes, schools in my country follow the same pattern as Japan - you spend the entire year with the same class. We don't move to other classrooms with different students who chose different subjects, like in USA, we study every single subject there is (which, now that I'm an adult, I believe is the best system out there). And since we don't have to move to other classes, it's the teachers that come to us, not the other way around.

Frankly, I think system is better than what USA applies. The problem is that I made a mistake when choosing my school. Instead of accepting the fact there were other choices, 12 years old me just wanted to go to the first school I saw due to some immature bias I had at the time. I don't know, maybe it was fear of choice. I didn't make the same mistake when I moved to high school (14), though, and I was able to have a decent social life there.
