yes the pacing seems odd. Clearly, there is something wrong in the plot so it's a bit confusing. The MC woke up from what ? A coma? Who's the first son who died? WHotf is mc before isekai'd, is she that stupid or what?

Honestly, tho, HOW CAN YOU STAY CALM IN FRONT OF THAT B***CH. If I were her, I would have smashed their elegant teacup into her ugly face.

@Sleepingair, the lord told his children (which are a part of Ellias blood) to get a job in the palace or something. The lord wants to make a name for the Ellias family because all the other top noble families have someone working for the new king (?), all except his family. Therefore, big reward is given if one of his children (aka Ellias blood) managed to secure a place in the castle.
