Thanks for this. 小次郎 is coincidentally (or perhaps not) the name for James from Team Rocket in Pokemon, who in Japanese is also called Kojirō. think I'll leave the translation as James Yagyu for now, unless you can convince me otherwise.

That James is localization so the name more familiar to the western kid who watch pokemon.
詹姆斯, 杰姆斯 or another transliteration variant would be better choice than 小次郎 if author really want to name him James.
