Though one thing I would want these types of novels to stop doing is that it's always a villainous duke's daughter and a baroness heroine. Why can't they pick any other titles other than the mere difference in status being one of the major points?

@Robbini My friend compared these isekai settings to stencils, the layout is the same but the coloring and texture might be different. And I think it's a good comparison. I suppose it's kinda easier to start with something familiar and in-the-line, like walking a pre-made path. Of course, most of which turns out to be instant-noodle kind of story with similar if not same storyline and bland MCs, but some turns out to be actually good.

I also recommend "Miss Not-So Sidekick", which was also part of his list, but doesn't have a page on mangadex. The artwork for ch1 is.... not my favorite, I think they were trying to emphasized how ugly humans are irl before letting her be reincarnated. Also, the artist makes the princes ridiculously ugly (Nothing is more pleasing than harming the characters you dislike in your works. I would have made them bald as well).

I rather like this. Irene has even more initiative than the usual villainess, despite being in heartbreaking circumstances that also makes me sympathize with her more than usual as well. She's fun, her father is kind of a bastard, and the prince and heroine...
I mean, they are literally stealing her business. How on earth does this make sense when the prince is the one that annulled the engagement? It should be going to her as reparations, as far as I understand. She bullied the heroine, apparently, but she's clearly not stupid enough to break any concrete rules.

Bah. Doesn't matter. I'm sure she can start a new business with the Demon King and pull them both out of poverty.
Speaking of him, I like this male lead. The recent Shield Hero anime has shown me that I love when characters unintentionally emote through non-traditional means, and control of nature itself is a fun way to do that. He's classic tsun/kuudere, and seems like a sweetheart. Makes me think of Castlevania's Dracula for some reason.

why do most of the villainesses of otome isekai wear blue? Is it some sorta trait?
It started out so similar to duke's daughter, glad it's different. Though I kinda hoped she'd visit the castle with a plan instead of just entering and yell "MARRY ME"

As per usual for this genre, the world is poorly defined. I wanted to skip to interesting part (for this genre it's usually quasi-romantic interactions and out of place adorable antics), but I needed to get just the outline of "the plot so far".

While the basic premise is something I've seen few times, I like the particular twists:
1. MC was obsesses with games due to terminal illness, and this is her chance to actually live
2. Her father is sadist who is forcing her to walk the path of thorns to get her good end
3. The demon king and his lackeys are hilarious.
