I'm a Villainous Daughter, so I'm going to keep the Last Boss - Vol. 1 Ch. 1

I really don't get the trope that you abused and treat poorly of someone with the power to control nature. Do you want to destroy the world?

The "I reincarnated as the villain of an otome game" sure is becoming a popular sub-genre.

These stories are often a little off-kilter in that the rival character who the protag reincarnates into actually tends to be more relatable than the person who's actually supposed to be the main character.

Sigh, if only I were pursued with the interest of marriage by a reincarnated woman occupying the body of a rival female of the female heroine... 👺

I still pretty this kind of isekai story instead of the ones with the protagonists who receive a cheating power.

@PuniTranslations
On page 12 and the title, why translate 令嬢 as daughter?
It makes no sense when it's used, context-wise. It also doesn't make sense as a translation, given that there's no reference to her father, and the speaker also isn't her father.
The other meaning "young woman", "young lady", would be a much better fit. Or just do what the translations for the other 20 similar stories did, and translate 悪役令嬢 as villainess.

(also, the manga's blacks aren't really black because it wasn't levelled, you can see when comparing it with the translated text, and on the screen on page 38)

Sacrifice! Sacrifice! Sacrifice! SACRIFICE! SACRIFICE! SACRIFICE! SACRIFICE! SACRIFICE! SACRIFICE! SACRIFICE FOR THE GOD EMPEROR!

@bushwhacker2k I think that's partly the point of this sort of story. They tend to poke and parody the absurdity, and sometimes hypocrisy, of otome style stories. Arguably, they're an unintended explanation on the power of perspective.

The prince is a total dipshit. "Do you think i could love a proud women like you?" Well, obviously not because it seems like he constantly needs his over-inflated ego stroked

This first chapter was a whole fucking meal. Had me reeling and blushing and gushing and wanting to cut a bitch. How dare they steal her idea?! I hope she can stop them.

Wow. I didn’t feel cringe reading the novel but the manga gave me second hand embarassment

Cute, weak girls who always need to be saved makes for terrible protagonists. The strong-willed and strict individuals who put in the effort to get stronger to support others are almost always true protagonist material. "Do you think I could love a proud women like you?" Yea that prince clearly just wants someone to stroke his ego constantly, not worth the effort.
Story definitely does a great job at setting a good vs bad protag.

I'm rereading this from the start now that I've finished the manga. God I really love Aileen. Her go-getter personality and determination really just draws you in from the start.

It's also nice seeing how the art-style's evolved! Claude's face is drawn more babyish here in the start, I think, compared to the more recent chapters.

@Pyrophosphate She was doing something wrong if she became a social outcast despised by all. If she was starting a business, she would have needed allies all the more. Only when you are already running a huge business you can become a scumbag at leisure, like Steve Jobs or such. Being strong-willed and strict is a different thing from being arrogant and alienating everyone. Though that being said, the prince can indeed be a fool, but the MC isn't without blame either.

”Do you like me?”
”No?”
I think I will enjoy this manga
