I don't see the problem with the pacing. Things are moving faster as consequence of what happened in the dance, Lilian confronting Claude and awakening her powers as the holy maiden, Cedric falling into madness after being rejected by Aileen and Aileen memories finally setting in which allowed her to remmeber what happens in the game and why Claude goes berserker.
What we see in this chapter is Aileen taking action to mitigate the situation that causes Claude to become a monster and Cedric putting some revange plan in motion using that Lilian is the holy maiden as leverage.

Overall the plot has been moving fast in the manga since the start, which is fitting given everything is because of the desperation of Aileen at the start of the manga and even now that desperation still exist as the game put Aileen to die if Claude lose his "humanity".
