(this is completly assuming) maybe, he's interested why she's the only one who isn't/can't supply origin points, also for the first time he met a woman, he couldn't seduce both mystery and in intrigued may play a part in trying to woo her, tho I agree he's taking a huge gamble cause the 4th elder could've of reacted in a way more dangerous way. Seems like that romance would be a slow burn.

It really is strange how he isn't getting any reaction at all from her.
