A loss right away, while the MC is calm and finds it funny/ironic? I'm all in for sure.
there's just something about the MC that makes the negative things that happen to him quite entertaining.
I guess a solid character personality can really carry a story, regardless of what happens.

@teamchat A great character is everything and this one's absolutely my taste. Most author's either try to make their character's unnecessarily edgy too fast like Solo Leveling or excessively genki like Kimetsu no Yaiba. But this one's just right. The MC likes finds fun in challenges. Plain and simple. It's not shoved down our throats like the guy's desperate to prove himself.
