in my view it wasn't that considerate since it's 1. exposing the trick of "im hungry so may i have your food" and 2. i'd feel bad/awkward if my plate is empty but the other person's is basically full. it kinda highlights the difference in appetite?? this sounds more shallow the more i type xD I would perhaps feel flattered as well, cause it means theyre acompanying me as i eat, so? idk
