After the looking for Queen candidate competition/contest, and Riina is declared queen, MC goes back home and Jade has to use/give an excuse (a mission of some sort if I remember it right) that lets him stay near MC's side, the spoilers I've read haven't gotten that far and I haven't read the updated version if there are any updates. Just know that most of the notable characters are happy. PrincexRiina are happy, the kingdom will end up prosperous since we have a scholar for a queen, MC is happy to serve a friend (and technically, Riina still owes her a favor depending on both their characters), and Jade and us shippers are happy MC gets to have an intelligent, open minded, and well endowed man as a husband.

Back in chapter 1, page 14 Theresse still has long hair even as a kid. Also I really doubt she has the young girl's perception shown in this chapter to not name herselves as she might be in trouble with the higher nobles people.
