This was refreshing to read. They actually talked out fully and even parted peacefully without any hard feelings. Tbh I think Clarisse is more suited to be queen because she acts decisively and commands respect. Tho I feel like she lets her lackeys be too loose in their behaviour and lacks the openness Terresse has in accepting mistakes and helping others to correct them.

It's obvs from the cover that Riina will end up with the Prince (I hope) but that makes me wonder if she will also marry him and become queen cuz I can't see her being able to navigate the social world as royalty. She would own the political side of things but have so much trouble with the balls and nobles. I guess either Terresse and Clarisse will come in handy there but I still can't see it.

Nice development for Clarisse! Especially that warning in the end. Teresse may or may not have been wary but it's a nice touch that Clarisse goes out of her way to remind her of the potential danger. I didn't necessarily expect that.

maybe spoiler. but the way I see this story panning out is that Clarisse will become the queen in the end and maybe Terrasse will become her aid (or whatever she was aiming for, a court woman??), basically they become friends/close. cuz I think I read somewhere a few chaps back that her end game was Jade.

That kind of chapter puts the manga in like a 9 or 10 level for me since they actually worked through the problem instead of one side conceding too fast. Storylines like this are hardly ever fleshed out and resolved like this, without making them antagonists for chapters on end.
