But to me, it’s kinda vanilla when the obvious choice ends up together. It’s like the FL has no agency, like the previous FL fell in love with the main guy so you have to also.

But it does depend on how the story was written. Idk, isekai stories are so fun to read but also kinda messy to analyze

It doesn't bother me as much, maybe I've seen it too often. ^^;; If this is a pseudo-medieval setting it might make sense because that kind of thing happened historically, especially in aristocratic marriages, but I understand if it's problematic for modern readers.
