she's not a green tea bitch, but assuming nothing changes from the novel, there will be drama.
@Jessicawu24 reminder that Stella's family is super broke and transportation is by cart. Unless you are getting strawberries super fresh, the odds of them showing up undamaged aren't great.
Honestly, even if the MC wasn't so silly and naive, she has the right to misunderstand the situation if he truly danced with the original protagonist and is even talking and smiling with her casually like that. These aren't incriminating things or anything but I'm saying it's normal for her misunderstand
I smell a misunderstanding. She should just talk with Ian if she thinks he likes Stella, he would love to hear it. Or if that scares her independently confirm it from a friend she can actually trust, like the student council VP.
The strawberries thing is a really weird conversation. This is an alternate reality and all, but strawberries are incredibly easy to grow (though hard work) and a mainstay of peasant gardens. Grown in gardens they are generally smaller and much less mushy, and I have no idea how Stella could eat an old strawberry when people would only ever eat them off the vine. It could be a sign that Stella is deliberately trying to play up her ignorance and poverty, or more likely the author just didn't do their homework.
@ichigodream speaking of which, what happened to that dress? It just disappeared after Stella got it.
If the prince actually hated Louisa he wouldn't have called her over and he would have gotten upset with her for embarrassing Stella, especially with how dramatic Stella is bring about it. I don't even like the prince but it's obvious he at least cares for her
