I just can't take this "black hair, black eyes bad" trope seriously. It's literally the most common hair color in the world. Why not go for something more original, like making plaid hair the new source of evil. Really break out those crazy screen tones and create an entire league of evil weird hair colors.

dunno. it's readable and all, but releasing a split chapter for the first release just seems like a bad choice. even if you had to wait a few weeks more for the first full chapter, i feel it would have given a proper impact and introduction to the story. while the progress from this cliffhanger will likely result in MC overpowering that group of adventurers, there's still more plot that, at this point, is outside the context.
