About the "vehicle that can reach a star" thing..
Whos to say that her "Earth" is the same as ours? She could be from a parallel world where the space travel technology is more advanced.
And even if It was our world, whos to say she even lives at the same time we do? For all we know she could be from the future. The outward appearance of society wouldn't change that much if we only get major scientific breakthrough on space travel alone.
It could be that she just said "stars" as a mean to explain that we have technology that allow us to travel "far away into the sky", since they probably don't understand the concept of "space" considering how little scientific knowledge they have.
It could be just an error on the translation, as It was pointed out a few times.
My point is, we don't know shit, and this is just a fictional work, so whats the point on discussing this anyways?
