That internal monologue "gotta pray" got me. The mangaka straight up lied to me. If he wouldn't have done that I would have assumed she is faking it. But by using an internal monologue for that, I thought, "Ohhh God! AGAIN? REALLY?!?" I like it, when an author is able to fool me, but that was just really far beyond the rules. Don't tough inner thoughts. If you do, you can't trust anything in a manga anymore and every asspull becomes feasible.

Also good, that the white healer kid/gran-pa got freed. The priest and church came out of it to unhurt for my taste. Sure, many lives are dependent on that church, but you still have to replace the upper echelons or else... What will happen, if Demon Lord, the Black Healer and even the White Healer state, that the church is corrupt?... That church might collapse, but how many people will stave in turn?

Well, right now the church takes all those dependant people as hostages.

If they were going to use Noel as an excuse for arresting the priest, then they could have used him from the very start without the elaborate plan. Seems like a big waste of time, but whatever. Bishonen harem + 1.

As I understand it, Noel was used to refute the priest hiding behind Gaia's authority, while the actual play was to provoke a "kidnapping" so he has something official to be charged with.

The internal monologue was prpbably due to the fact that when her obedience contract canceller went off she said it herself, she didn't expect to become dizzy and it seems there are side effects when it happens

Nah we weren't lied to; what we saw is that her head was getting dizzy, then she had the internal monologue, at that point, she wasn't completely free from the power of words, however during her internal thoughts, she stopped, and theres was 3 dots, then she said out loud "yes" at that point she was completely free. We never got any internal monologue after she said yes
