Oh man . They're both ACTUALLY that stupid. Like rocks for brains stupid. Im also annoyed that Renee continues not to learn how to actively use her offensive magic. I get not wanting to hurt people, but she continues to depend on either passive defensive magic or other people, amd has no back up plan for if those things should fail. It's how king brain dead almost got her in the first place.
