In your opinion what is the most annoying/overused manga cliche?

The whole nosebleed thing is more akin to a old wives tale. If anything it’s a representation of the buildup of blood pressure from when a character is sexually aroused.

Typically arousal causes the heart rate and blood pressure to rise but there is no connection between arousal and nose-bleeds. So i guess that’s why they do that, unless the series is more “Adult”oriented then you will see less nosebleeds.

Ah yes.. arousal! That seems more of an appropriate explanation than boner.

Boner is still a great way to describe it. As of recent more and more characters young old including female characters get nosebleeds. So it’s weird to see all these characters get nosebleeds all of a sudden.

Not sure if this counts as a cliche but, I dislike it when I see lots of those female characters that has an airy gaspy voice and just gasps a lot...at like everything...or even before answering. It just annoys me.
