Still though this manga's trying to do too much. The artist wants to draw more fanservice and have a more erotic atmosphere but the story he's written has a more somber and serious mood. Since they have a limited page count the pacing of the manga has taken a big hit.

It's not like Parallel Paradise were the adult stuff is inherently tied to the main narrative so it makes sense to focus on it at times. Not only that but the character dynamics here started out much more grounded in reality. Ever since the author went full harem mode, the characters have gotten shallower as a result of this. Beginning of this manga was more fun to read than now, but these evolving zombies are interesting and the mystery in general is good.

I hope the author finds a good balance between the things he wants to do.
