Eh, to be fair, the Mona Lisa is pretty overrated... and remarkably unimpressive from up close.
Not bad, but the Louvre houses dozens of other masterpieces, which don't get even half the attention by the tourist hordes.
(My own favorite has to be Nike of Samothrace, god that was breathtaking.)
