........ Gotta say.... Regardless of if it's a cultural thing or not. Doesn't matter if there's a need or importance for either a sexual or romantic compatibility in a relationship. Virginity and rivals, not really important for anything except for personal taste.

This story's plot is weird. Pure and simple, it's weird.
Tldr "You're mothers dying so to make you feel better let's have sex". Sure, it's paraphrasing and not accurate, but it sure looks like that. Looks like a guy who just wants convenient sex. You may think it looks different, you might think it looks like true love, I don't know. I think it looks a bit predatory and kinda reluctant.

i too would never marry without sex compability but the whole situation is unrealistic!
i'm guessing he likes her since before which makes the sudden and imposed sex proposal even more irky. He knows she's not really willing and is vulnerable.... would she even be in the mood for surprise sex after knowing her grandma is dying???.

also, it's unlikely for her to follow him to his apartment without any real explanation and accept his rapey advances.
if she's ok to marry for her grandmother's sake she could find another partner without this rushed condition.

it's just another smut manga with lazy plot but it bothers me too.
