I'm personally using Waterfox, some hick-ups here and there, but tolerable since i can use my favorite legacy add-ons.

As long as proprietary corporate or medical software only runs on the last version of Internet Explorer (12 I think) it's never going to die. Legacy web apps that can't (or won't) be moved onto a constantly changing new Browser will stay on IE for a looong time.

When your company or medical web app won't run on anything other than IE or Pre-Australis Firefox, it's less of a pain to just use Internet Explorer.
