Damn, I went ahead and tried to find the novel version of this and boy oh boy... it's hard to read through. Readers better be prepared to not rage quit.

He Gu's love for Song Juhan is super unhealthy. To the point where He Gu just works to earn money to buy stuff for Song Juhan so he never saves enough for himself for his future. He's literally works himself to the bone but continues to tell himself he's okay with this while his body is telling him otherwise. I'm still not entirely sure why exactly he likes Song Juhan either considering I'm MTLing the novel. I cringe every time He Gu let's Song Juhan does whatever he wants to him and even begs for forgiveness when he doesn't even know what he's apologizing for. And all of this is just to make sure Song Juhan will continue to keep company with him. That's how far his unhealthy obsession with Song Juhuan goes. At this point, I'm just reading because I'm curious if there will ever be a breaking point for He Gu to finally put his obsession behind him and learn to live for himself.
