ok...I'm confused, either this is set way more than a mere half a year after the end of the main story or somebody's got some explaining to do as to why there's so many kids already
...well, I suppose they could have simply been looking after the village kids for a while

@InsaneInsomniac You should reread the last chapter. After the Shikon no tama disappeared, Kagome was sent back to the modern world and 3 years passed. In those 3 years, Sango had the twins and Kogome graduated highschool. Somehow, Kagome was able to go back to Sengoku era, Sango's third child was born around this time too and this is half a year after that. Basically, 3 and a half years.

@miyako19 yeah, I haven't actually read this series in a couple years...I mean it is a great series, but finding the hours to set aside and re-read it is kinda hard

When you think real hard, it almost blows my mind at the theory that Kagome or Miroku's family ends up becoming Kagome' (present) ancestor. Why the traditions are well kept, why the Higurashi family has been tasked to keep the god tree, the well and the shrine after all those years.
Why they kept their tradition was because Kagome would eventually tell them that she came from the future, and in order for the future to be saved, the well, the God Tree and the creation of a shrine within that village.

Haha... The last time I read this series was when I was 12-13 years old. Man, I am old.

Ah, this was a good manga, good thing that I decided to re-read it, because a lot of details flew over my head when I was a kid and I could almost not remember anything. Now I know why I liked it so much
