She was more interesting, yes, but she did get at least one village raped and murdered for her love of undead. There are better places to find corpses. Like tailing adventurers, perhaps?
She committed heinous crimes because she wasn't patient enough to just wait for corpses.
I feel no sympathy for this self centered, irresponsible bitch who brought ruin to an entire village and her family.
I hope authors don't continue this trend of half-assing backstories to make their stories have more depth than a kiddie pool without putting in actual effort.
She died like a bitch she is. People talking like she's a deep character, are you fucking stupid? She has one flashback chapter about how she lost her sanity because one pet. Doom guy is a more deep character than this bitch.
Her sense of reality became warped. When her mother said they can replace the puppy. Which in turn made her thought if she had died then her parents would just replace her as well.
lol well she was a nice character not bad just cuz there needed to be a villain but someone that you can kind of understand people are giving her a lot of shit cuz she used her body i guess, on that note youd think shed kill them before anything actually happened but whatever i guess gotta make things extra spicy right author.
I am interested in all the LN illustrations that keep appearing.
@fuyuhakai
You clearly didn't understood her character....
What broke her was not the death of the pet but the idea that it could be easily replaced.
Her whole character was about being irreplaceble and the fear of being replaced leading a person to... well insanity could be used here but that was not really what happened.
Reseach on undead is actually a very beneficial one when conducted correctly, as it would give a untiring free work force for simple manual tasks.
You are right she was a bitch but not on what made her be like that. She is a way deeper character than you are giving credit. The "everything is easily replaceble" is a premise so good that there is an anime that is based on that called "Suzumya Haruhi no yuutsu".
