I still don't understand why a noble would personally write a letter to bandits which leaves evidence, instead of using an intermediary. Or why people would believe such a letter is genuine when it could be fake to generate false accusations. Too easy just for the sake of plot development.

@knewworld No, she said "just kidding". She said that she already can't go on adventures with him since she's a princess. So death flag is probably avoided since she never had a chance to begin with! (Since these sorts of lines that suggest a death flag usually leave a possibility for them to accomplish it in the far future, so when they die prematurely without being able to do what they wanted it has more of an impact.)
