Is It Tough Being a Friend? - Vol. 1 Ch. 4

I really thought this would never get another chapter which would be bad since its pretty interesting in its own right. Thanks for the chapter.

with that thing about the evil monsters being able to take human form, it makes me believe that they will think he's one of them

@plsnobully He is either special like the "protagonists or protagonists' enemies" OR

just "neutrally" spiritually powerful without any explanation, as he is actually bodily and also intellectually talented in all the things he helped his previous-protagonist friends to learn.

Yeah?

You dumbass support, this is totally the time you can enact the 'my best friend is off doing his own thing and leaving me alone'arc!

The dedication he shows in his role is just astounding and commendable.

He and Cid from The Eminence in Shadow could really bond over this stuff, as well as their sheer prowess in Mob-fu.

So I take it that he is the big bad and its meant to be the big twist in the "story" he is making notes of. How did he not figure that out himself when he seems somewhat trope-savvy?

@Tersione

I can see the two being best friends and talking about the best way to be a mob and stuff like that. Because of wanting to be a shadow, he couldn't help him, but the guys sure would get along great as two guys that see through all the bullshit.

I'm guessing he get possesed by the final bad guy, it's the ultimate 'normie friend' trope, even Inazuma eleven used it with the more 'normie' member of the team.
