Is It Tough Being a Friend? - Vol. 2 Ch. 7

wow this is honestly so surprising but really hilarious and interesting too
Usually for manga centered around a unique plot like this, the "surprise" twist is usually played out right from the end of the first chapter to get readers hooked
They had us tricked for a whole 6 chapters in this one before revealing the twist which is pretty awesome, glad I didn't drop it earlier

Is this a way for the world to thank this side character for all the MCs he has created and decided to give him the best MC slash wife? Lol

@FgoSegul
He wants to be a side character....but not a important one necessarily. Think say.....original power rangers. He likes the people that don't show up more then a couple times or if he goes fancier he likes being Bulk and Skully or Alfa. Being a romance interest puts you firmly in main cast or on kidnap victim/dying duty, and while dying for the MC was fun in a play its not a preferable role for your real life. Basically he doesn't want to join the team making him firmly a main character but he also doesn't want to be placed into the single most dangerous position in any show. He also hasn't realized yet that he already failed at being normal (hypno waves didn't effect him like they don't effect the MC's) so he's trying REALLY hard to maintain his role right now as Ryuga takes two sledgehammers to it repeatedly.

Much less everyone else that quickly starts breaking his role as well.

Uh. If the goal for the chapter was to act "lame and detestable" he was pretty damn close to hit the homerun.

Damn.. she's thirstier than a man in the middle of the Sahara during the hottest day of the summer. She's also very heroic when it comes to pursuing him too. I mean as expected of a Shounen Manga style protagonist there are no "half measures" for her. I'm actually impressed by the restraint of her at least keeping it PG-13 since clearly she's proven that "everything" is on the table at all times with no hesitation...
