@BroederTrapist My 1st few posts were in the general discussion for Aspe-chan. Someone attacked me just for admitting my autism. I didn't start posting in the Politics Megathread until almost a couple of months ago.

I have blocked a few people, but I'm not happy about having to do so. Most of them have said something interesting at other times.

So, just checked that thread, and no, she did not get attacked because she admitted she had autism, but that she was claiming that it was not a disorder, and the other person just disagreed with her.

As someone on the spectrum, I can definitely tell you that it fits the definition of a mental disorder, in that it meets the DSM-V's definition of a disorder. Here's a link that covers the nuances of their operational definitions and its limitations, but Autism Spectrum Disorder definitely falls into the group because it describes a consistent pattern of cognitive and behavioral symptoms that are consistent across a population that can cause distress to themselves or others, and can be caused by underlying biological and psychological phenomena. Not only that but it can cause dysfunction in social situation due to a lack of empathy, a lack of social awareness, sensory issues, etc.

Again, being on the spectrum and having to have special accommodations in my education and having to receive social services I can definitely say that it needs to be classified as a mental disorder. That's not an insult to people who have it, it's the denotative description that allows us to legally receive any aid we need.

PS. For anyone reading, yes I am one of the people she's blocked which is probably ironic given we probably could relate with each in a lot of areas.

I´m still kinda new I only been here for like 3-4 months, but I do see some pretty toxic people every now and then.
Mainly around the area of incels and elitists, but those crowds are pretty quick to get shut down,
And it´s usually just default pfps wantin to be edgy/funny anyways

Is it normal to go to a shop and the first person you see?

I don't go to shops due to the simple fact that I am straight, but this one time a friend brought me to one.
As it turns out, the first person that happened to enter my field of vision was none other than a lady who looked no less than 150 kilograms (330 lbs for burgers).
This triggered a visceral reaction within me and I grabbed the cup she was holding and said "Enough for you! HAH!" then I sipped from it, before wincing, making sure to notify her it was too sweet (I consider myself to have fine tastes and I personally believe everyone has a thing or two to learn from me), then poured the rest onto her 4th chin, HAH!
But that was just one occasion and I would ask that you do not judge me off of this one event as that isn't nice.
