Why the fuck do people never understand the difference between in-law relative and step/adoptive relative? Are they fucking google translating it? Yes they're the same word in Japanese but it should be obvious from context which one it is most of the time.

@marshymallowy I don't want to be the one to say it but... "step-sister" is wrong too haha.
Step-sister would mean she is the child of either the mother or father who married MC's mother or father making only one of the parents biologically the parent of MC.
Since both parents are the biological parents of MC, half-sister is also wrong since neither of the parents are the biological parent of the sister so don't use half-sister in case you were thinking of it haha.
Just use "foster sister" (meaning a girl brought up with another child of different parents) or "adopted sister".
Also page one should be "clinic"

Maybe the important part for them is to stress that they are not blood related.
