On the topic at hand: Rant about this chapter. "Coup de grâce":
So MC can't fight magic manifestations themselves. That's a HUGH fucking plot hole there. "You are some kind of Superman now! You are inhumanly strong, inhumanly fast, invulnerable to magic, super novae, nearly everything and most physical attacks, but not to fired bullets of projectile weapons, as they are kind of your weakness. Also jello can kill you." What the fuck?!? It's a world of swords and magic! If the MC can't face magic for the love of God, don't hype him into the sky and forget to tell the readers about it. Just casual mentioning it, while in a battle against a magician is an unforgivable asspull. And I plainly don't understand why.
If it would have been mentioned earlier, it would have made a so much better upbuild for such battles:
"Will the MC be able to face it? Huh, guess he kinda can't. So it's that kind of story, where a victory isn't a given. That's kinda interesting. Nice."
And it would have been so easy for the author.
But instead it became,
"MC kicks everyone's ass. *asspull* And now he's on the floor, because he didn't prepare for a huge gape in his strategy to SMASH everything. How will he overcome that ordeal? *asspull* Ohhhh. That's how (the author is playing it)."
He was instructed by magicians! How couldn't he be prepared to face magicians? Or at least be more conscience about that weakness of his? Same thing like the magical girl EX-MC wasn't prepared for a hostage situation last chapter. Those villains must be tactical geniuses to come up with that new stuff. -_-;
When the they were Twin-MCs the story was so much more promising. After Magic girl turned into a damsel and the remaining MC into a white knight Mary Sue the show suddenly hit rock bottom.
