So I like this story a lot, but, the trope of "Superior Japanese Food" has to be the most irritating food related tropes in the history of media. I know that everybody's tastes are different, but I definitely, definitely, not in a million years would consider Japanese food to be superior to Western food. Just to state it, I'm somebody who likes foreign food quite a lot.

@IlaiaCorde Well she's making pasta so she must like some western food. I think the friend from chapter 1 was just complaining about British food and their water being filled with minerals (both are also annoying tropes).

@JutlandAngel To be fair, most standard British foods are considered bland by many, including actual British people. In the comments of chapter 1, for instance, most were annoyed by the trope, but agreed that British food isn't great.
It's definitely a trope, but there's at least some truth to it.
