@SotiCoto I know you made your post like 4 months ago and you might have already figured it out by now, but in case you haven't:

The "pancakes" in this chapter are probably supposed to be japanese pancakes, which are typically thick and souffle-like. If you type "japanese pancakes" into google images you'll see what I'm talking about.

So I think it's less a translator error and more of a "JP food in an isekai" trope
