Sorry for not going with popular opiniom of the guy in this chapter, but i guess the author try to give us that male character that likes too bully the heroine too much and find it amusing to see them stressed out or crying. But the case have become different since ou MC is still a child lol that "for not putting a barrier" is abit dangerous tho, but well if this was a romance manga Doesn't mean he's that bad, i guess? And he's kinda my type hahahaha

@kuzunagi13 - on the front cover, Nephy has proper feet. And on one of the first illustrations. But starting from ch. 1 page 15, the artists abstracts away her feet.
At least, I think he does that, and her feet are not bound in Chinese fashion, because sometimes they are drawn properly.
