Isekai de Skill wo Kaitai Shitara Cheat na Yome ga Zoushoku Shimashita: Gainen Kousa no Structure - Ch. 18

Oh come on, was there any reason to even have Leticia enslave Aine there, she could've easily just made her the house's maid and put in a contract stipulation on the house that made Nagi unable to fire her, or something.

Author, it's possible to have a party member who aint a slave, you know.

the concept of "slave" in this manga is tooooo broad and unnecessary ....

ahh crap.. now the MC is getting recognized as Hero.. now the Demon Lord won't just turn blind on that shite..

PS: yeah.. the slave thing is kinda getting repetitive and upfront.. the 'Being Able to Edit Skills' is not even getting a good amount of screen time despite of being in the title..

Ku Ku Ku... now that you have three full-fledged harem slaves, I sense you are fit to be a hero...

I mean, nothing else about him changed in this chapter, right? What else could it be that now qualifies him when he wasn't before?

I disagree with how you guys are interpreting this. Aine's contract isn't for Nagi's benefit, it's for Aine's. By the contract, if any part of the property is damaged, the contract is broken and Nagi is thrown out. Aine is included among the property. What counts as damaged? Physically hurt? Emotionally hurt? What if she's just sad or unhappy living with him? That sadness could be interpreted as damaged and the contract will be revoked. As such, while Aine's responsibility is to take care of the property, it is Nagi's responsibility to take care of Aine such that she is always satisfied, else she always has the option to quit and take away the property from Nagi.

Letica might like Nagi for his help, but she did this for Aine, not for Nagi. I get Aine can be considered a slave because she becomes tied to the property and Nagi gains all of the property, but it honestly sounds like she's just a maid by how the Aine-Letica contract was worded. I believe the slave part is more for the sake of forcing Nagi to be her caretaker than for Nagi to actually own her.

well either way, she could also became stronger now that she became nagi's slave.

Expecting that 'scene' about skill editing in the future. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

Despite popular belief, it is possible to have a contract involving the well-being of one's employees without the need for enslavement.

@07mak

This guy is absolutely correct. Any of you saying otherwise are completely in the wrong. That is the only appropriate interpretation of the events based on context and characterization.

@seekermoc
Its possible that she just didnt notice him before, its also possible something in a previous chapter is what made her notice, not what happened in this chapter.
