Read the LN version a while ago and if remember correctly the broom Aine is using isn't a typical broom you find in a store. It's more like a weapon made in the shape of a broom. Don't remember what bristles are made out of but the handle is made out of strong metal so no matter how hard or how often Aine whacks monsters the broom won't break from the force or impact. However, regardless of the materials used it has to look and act enough like a broom for it to qualify as usable for the monster sweep skill. Like a sword wouldn't qualify and the skill would fail to activate. You know MC should make a couple special skills for Leticia. Could combine the skills with himself and Aine or Rita or Cecyl and then extract the skill as a skill orb to give to her. In any case I bet at some point there'll be a big snafu at some point before can stow the sword somewhere that corrupt noble will never find going by the MC's track record when it seems everything is going well.
