thats what i don't get in many asian stories: they depend on charackter A to do a certain job sometimes A is even the only person that can fullfil the task or the task is integral to their future
and yet they proceed to bully hurt or abuse charackter A just as if A cant possibly do a bad job or sabotage the task entirely
