well while it was very poorly explained
10mill are apparently a sum grand enough to paralyze the adventurers guild which will lead to less tasks being performed because they dont have the on hands cash to pay for it which can even lead to the collapse of it as a whole ( if you want to see an organisation squirm just block the use of their on hand cash for a couple of days)
which would be problematic since the daily life of the civillians depends on the tasks being fullfilled not to mention what would happen to the flow of goods and the economy when demand for adventurer releated goods and services suddenly goes haywire

so instead of deboning the adventurers guild as a whole they chose to make one person bear the debt

and that is the point were things become strange.... because instead of the person responsible they "chose" their probably most valued asset or rather that asset like a good little helper monkey chose them selves and afterwards receives no monetary help from the guild whatsoever

The mc is a pure virgin and stupid.
He looks down on himself as if he was the one at fault. If the girl wants to become a slave then let her be lol.
If he keeps looking down on himself, ofcourse the surounding people will also look down on him

The Grandma is actually being considerate and reasonable, she doesn't want to ruin the reputation of the Alchemy Guild and she doesn't people to make light of it just because it was some potions.
The story is like getting nowhere but still somewhat interesting.
